Safari/Google are not working

When my daughter tries to access Safari it now says, “Safari can not open the page because it can not connect to the server.” Google say, “webpage is not available.” Both of these browsers worked before we installed the Bark VPN. Is there something in the Bark app that is blocking then from working?

  • any changes you’ve made to Screen Time rules can sometimes take just a few minutes to take effect.

  • There was just an iOS Bark Kids update released; ensure you have v3.2.1 installed on your daughter’s device.

  • you might check that your correct time zone is set in your account.

  • Check that her Bedtime settings are set appropriately in

  • Check that she is not Paused in

  • Check the app and category limits for her in

  • If it’s still blocking everything, check the Recent Activity page to see if it shows the blocks on there. It will include WHY it was blocked when you click on the gear icon next to the website.

  • lastly, you might try turning on Airplane mode briefly and then back off again.

Thank you so much, this was very helpful. I think the settings have been changed now. I did notice her phone has version 3.2 (73). If she needs version 3.2.1 how do I update it?
