I am new to BARK, on the dashboard when pausing a child’s apps, what exactly does it do? she is still able to use social media
Hello there! Mom and Bark Community team member here … Happy to explain a bit about Bark!
The Pause button on your dashboard functions as a way to block all internet activity on your child’s devices.
Please be aware that even when paused, the VPN on your child’s device still allows communication over the local network, meaning Wi-Fi backups to a computer is still able to happen uninterrupted if they happen to use iOS devices.
Here are some steps to try if you are running into trouble with your accessing content that you want restricted(specifically, sounds like #11 may be of some help):
If you have any issues with your account, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team at email@example.com or www.bark.us/contact with your account information and a brief summary explaining any issues.
