Daily notifications not working

We have 2 kids. We use a hot spot to backup so we cannot backup daily. I usually get a notification daily saying how many days it’s been since the last backup. I have been getting them regularly for my son but my daughters hasn’t been sending the last two weeks or so. I had her sign out of her app and then I signed back in but didn’t get an alert today. Any idea why this would be happening?
