Android app recommendations to turn off internet?

“School is starting back up and I am looking for AN APP. My kids are teens and I just want to make sure they get to bed at a reasonable time. We have unlimited data so I can’t just turn off the router at night. And I would like an app that turns off internet. All kids have Android’s. Please I am only looking for app ideas not coments on how to parent without apps or bed time rules. PLEASE JUST APP SUGGESTIONS ONLY.”

“I use Googles Family Link to set bedtimes (and limit screen time during the day). I do still require them to plug their phones in my room at night since they could still make phone calls. Their phones do not come back on in the morning untill we are leaving the house to insure it’s not a distraction that makes us late.”

" Circle home plus will control home wifi, tv, and cellphones. Not too difficult to set up. Big Hole : make sure the can’t get kn neighbors unlocked wifi. If so, take phones at night."

@dara It’s a shame that they discontinued Circle Go. That helped with the “not on my home network” problem.

I personally use Qustido. For anyone who’s gone the… let’s say sneaky route and their child’s Google Account isn’t stating their real age? You can’t use Google Family Link easily there. Qustido doesn’t have that limit, and it has a big “turn it all off!” button that’s pretty easy to use and schedule. The downside I will say is that it has a lot of false positives for Content Filtering.

why did they discontinue circle go?!

Forgive me here, I wasn’t read up enough. It appears @dara already suggested the replacement for Circle Go, Circle Home Plus with a Circle subscription. It looks like that might still do the trick.

They did discontinue Circle Go, BUT they integrated it into Circle Home! It is included with the first year, but comes at a subscription price after that. Circle Home is basically Circle (WiFi) and Circle Go (cellular) together.

EDIT: whoops, I totally didn’t see this was already clarified! :grimacing: Late to the party as usual. Ha!
